I always thought Kanye's "Stronger" was an abomination to Daft Punk. It's like he just rhymed over the track rather than chop it up & make something somewhat original.

I do like "Rollin" though. I figure someone was bound to sample the "Children" melody someday. I'm surprised nobody attempted to sample "Fable" yet.

I think a lot of Enigma's tracks and New Age music in general would have great melodies to sample & remix.

well i dont mind that, but stealing beats from classic IDM songs is just not really admirable

all songs have a rhythm. knowing the basic keys, you can rap over anything. rhythm, flow, and rhyme schemes. its really not that hard to grasp that idea.

look at this, eminem starts freestylin on a german late night show to some weird ass beat only cause they really wanted him to freestyle

theres been samples with classical songs bein used (immortal technique, jedi mind tricks) i mean its really endless on no matter what song it started off with, it could end up as hip hop with samples. now i really like techno, and i really like rap. and to hear songs with them comin together wasnt surprising when its early tracks came out

I'd like to hear examples. I do like Daedelus & Prefuse 73's work; the Anticon djs/producers could be considered IDM somewhat. Sometimes unorthodox beats w/ an MC rhyming over it works really well.
