Ok I did a sleep study.. sleep overnight in this facility and they a bunch of wires in ur scalp and other parts of the body.. that already took an hour and half I think off of my sleeping time (not to mention having wax on your hair after that gggrr) anyway i guess she monitors the way i breathe.. measuring how much oxygen i be getting and if body reacts in a way that strives to breathe.. in conclusion a few weeks later I was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea.. meaning I stop breathing when I sleep.. that explains alot of why im tired during the day and why it's soooo HARD!! so HARD!! to wake up in the morning.. (I just want to add the morning after the sleep study I told the monitor lol.. Can I sleep a few more minutes longer??? haha so like me) anyway I had to a sleep and pulmonary especialist why??? Because I beg to disagree to use CPAP.. it costs about 4500 or more I think and I dont have that kind of money to spending on.. (I am independent -working.. going to school.. paying for my own bills.. on my own.. blah blah) anyway yea so to find another alternative.. turns out my tonsils are hella big aswell so by removing it.. it should help alot by helping me breathe better.. its adds an obstruction to my breathing.. hah.. good.. my life will be alot better.. it became a certain burden for me having this sleep apnea thing.. soo hard for to wake up... late at work.. I have sserious warnings now because of that.. I dont want to lose my job. neway thankfully surgery is this wednesday.. no tripping because I got another good thing coming... you know whut??? haha pain killers.. harhar imma be in lala land for a week.. :P
Thanks.. yea.. I research about that too.. but knowing me I dont have the effort to do that everynight.. also I cant remember and or control the way/how I sleep since im already sleeping. nI dont want to take that chance of the possibility to oversleep again.. I want to get rid of these tonsils neway theyre freagin huge.. It's hard to swallow certain types of pills/vitamins lol.. Thank you though

Hello. I took a course on sleep. Sleep apnea is normal, everybody has it. On average people would actually stop breathing for 2mins during their sleep. Since you have "obstructive" sleep apnea, and it is causing you distress by awakenings, there is an alternative cheap way to reduce the obstruction. It is sleep on your side; do not sleep on your back. This may sound very stupid but you can tie a rope around your waist with a tennis ball attach on your back would prevent you turning during middle of the night. I never tried this but I heard it works.
maybe you should because the way you sleep and also because if you have a disorder like this.. it stops you from having an active lifestyle you get tired easily.. so some people think your lazy since you want to take naps but in reality it's because you then the full 8hrs of rest you need.
Hey thanks!! neway the way I sleep is not my problem its just because I have that sleep apnea thing.. usually its obese people that have it.. but not in other cases like mines.. i guess its hereditary cus my brother has it too..

hehe, well, good luck to you with the tonsils surgery and all, they did also consider the way you sleep, like on your side, back or stomach? and whether sleeping in any of those positions will help with your breathing? if that's not considered, you probably wanna try sleeping in all of those position and see which one makes you feel better when you wake up
