i don't know if this go into food n drinnk or here so if an admin think it should be in fnd then please move it for me thnx. i know most of us have bz lives but what ever happen to family time? u know like the sitcoms. at the end of the episode the family would have a family dinner. i miss that so much now that im grown n work till 8 p.m do anyone do that anymore? sit down with the family and spend some time with the people u r related to?

fo sho! i still do. even tho im grown n livin on my own, i still visit da familia n have that "sit-down dinner" time. i will never 4get about my family n wut they have done 4 me to help me out in this world. like some people r ashamed of goin wit their mom or dad to da mall or anywhere in which their friends mite see em wit their parents 4 that matter....but not me. i spend as much time wit em as i can coz u never know when u will b able to see them again....

eh for me, i never have done family dinner. usually just everyone do their own thing. and to be honest, not sure when that will change either.

Omg i havent had a family dinner for a long time, kinda sad really,not spending time with them omg what have I become.. maybe one day i will suprise them with a suprise family dinner hehe

I do miss eating w/ my family, only because everybody had a chance to get a portion of the food. Now my parents let me know first when the food's ready so I can eat before my brother, since that fool will just eat 75-85% of what's made & leave little for everyone else. I don't miss talking w/ my parents at the table due to the fact that I've never been comfortable talking to them since it's always things I'd rather not talk about; they're confrontational & I avoid conflict.

I know how you feel. I feel that way too sometime. But some times you just have to find some time to hang out as a family again. i sure do miss my sdie of the family. Even those I have my own little family.
