Given the technology that we have today; could Benjamin Franklin be more productive in our own time than during his existence? I wonder if he could only use our best computer now!

I think that given our technology in present time to those of the past, it'll be pretty difficult. It's like giving a farmer who has never seen or used a computer before and allowing him/her to goonto the internet. Or giving a third world country advance technology. What i'm trying to say is, it'll be difficult for a person from the past or to someone who've never used present day technology before the ability to use it. ok, I don't think that made any sense but yeah. So, I don't think Benjamin Franklin would be able to use the computer if we were to give it to him. It'll be the same as giving a computer to a baby. Damn it, i'm not making any sense and my similies are bad. :( So, I hope you understand what i'm trying to say.

tnx for the reply! yeah i do understand what you are implying buddy! but what i am trying to point out is; if benjamin franklin is to be born in our time and with his genius mind intact, can he be more productive using our most advance computer to aid him, than in his time.

ooohh...i'm sorry, ok, I see what you're trying to say now. xD I think with his intelligent mind and capabilities, he'll be able to change the world and be more productive. Heck, I bet he'll even make George Bush look bad :P With his voice, he'll capture the hearts of the US, heck, he did it once, he can do it again. Hey, hey created the incandecent Light Bulb back in the days (Sorry, my American History is not up to tune yet), so I don't see why he won't be productive in today's modern world.
I hope this sheds some light onto what you're trying to find?

With Benjamin Franklin's Intelligent. Ben would smoke George W. Bush. Ben came up with the Constitution. What did George W. Bush come up with? Heh, Everyone liked Benjamin, so there's no doubt that people wouldn't like Benjamin in the future.

No doubt. There are hundrends of great historica figures from the past, not only because of what they have done, but who they were and what they stood up against. You just cant find anyone like that nowadays.
