I have been consuming protein-rich drinks for the past year or so, but i have no clue as to which is the most effective. I hear there are alot of false ones out there,

 I know this site had some gym-junkies before it was re-made, so im hoping some advice on which drink is the best to use.

 

Also, feel free to post anything you eat, drink or consume in anyway which is protein rich and which i may have not thought about.

 most of my friends order OPTIMUM NUT (whey protein), CELLTECH or NITROTECH ü

Yeah nutrients are all great. But what im interested in is building my muscle mass, therefore protein is what im more interested in.

I have a lot of other dietry supplements at home.

yeah.. get as much as protein that u could get but drinking WHEY protein is way better and faster in building muscle mass.

i'm a big gym junkie don't mind me if i go crazy in this post......................

alright let's get this started......anything from muscletech is bull crap, sure it may work butit's over-rated and expensive there are a ton of products that are the same but cheaper and more effective....i have been expermenting with supplements since i was a sophmore in highschool....i'm not scared in trying new brands but i triend all them from optimum nutrition to muscletechs crappy products....for protein that makes u build muscle u need protein that has a blend of fast absorbing proteins for example Whey....and slower digesting proteins for example Micellar Casein and egg Albumin.....The best one for price and performance is from syntrax called Matrix 3.0 it's also taste so freaking good and i tasted so many others too....it has everything from proteins to vitamins....also u can't just take protein and get bigger....well u can but u need to take other stuff as well because just taking protein is a very slow process...but if u want i'll talk about those other products and go into more details.....i just want to stop myself from posting a novel

As a personal trainer, let me spit out a few things that you'd like to consider. 

Eat lots of fish. Some/most fish contain omega 3 fatty acids, which relieve inflammation after hard workouts and plus, fish = lots of protein. 

And for Whey protein, I recommend Cytosport's Cytogainer. It's like whey protein, but better. In additional to great taste and a lot of protein, it provides you with extra glutamines and creatine.

i dun kno bout cytogainer me nd my frend used to take it nd it dint really do much fo us...he finish 3 of dem nd dint feel any difference ...i finish 2 of em nd also dint see much of a difference...but now im takin syntha-6 by bsn nd i felt nd noticed a significant change after only about two months...nd i recently started takin nitrix also by bsn along wit syntha-6 nd one word....wow

 

Cytogainer is mainly used for just the recovery. It's not supposed to make you any stronger. Syntha 6 is straight up protein whereas Cytogainer has small amounts of creatine and glutamines. You may have just been working out harder while on Syntha 6. And yea, Nitrix is an n02 so that's a totally differen't product.

The reason why I don't think Cytogainer worked for you is that since it didn't work for your friend, you placebo'd yourself out of it. You'll be amazed what you can placebo yourself into or out of.
