i agree with u on the mixed asian thing. even though ima purbreed viet, i prolly wouldnt care if my family talked behind my back if i was mixed. |

i am filipino-irish-hungarian. and i have different groups of friends. so if i am with my filipino friends, i kinda stick out because i look more white. if i hang out with my white friends, i kinda stick out because i look somewhat asian. and when i am with my chinese friends, forget about it, i look way out of place. not white enough to be white, not asian enough to be asian. while its unique to be mixed, at time it does kinda make you stick out

growing up....i had a lot of korean friends..so i definitely stood out there, lol, and in college..my friends were all types of stuff..guyanese, colombian, filipino, chinese, jewish..so it didn't really matter. one of my closest friends in school was filipino-puertorican. so he felt the same way. when we would hang out with his cousins, on his filipino side..they were 100% filipino and my friend would look spanish. but he had a step brother who was 100% spanish and my friend looked filipino compared to him. i have met a few mixed filipinos and we all kinda look the same..not asian enough, not white enough. some say its unique, but at times it wouldnt be so bad just to fit in a little more.
